Hazy Mountain Vineyards & Brewery is seeking Line Cooks to join our culinary team. If you have a passion for food, wine/beer, and a professional/courteous disposition we would love to have you on our team.
Our tasting room sits above our Afton vineyard estate 1.5 miles from the intersection of Route 151 and Route 250, an easy commute from Waynesboro, Crozet, and Charlottesville.
Responsibilities:
- Completing orders as requested and on time
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Prepping and setting up the kitchen at the beginning of each shift
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Exercising portion control and consistent plating of menu itemsEnsure the building is properly secured at the close of day
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, ABC regulations, VDACS, OSHA
Qualifications:
- Prior retail/restaurant experience preferred
- A passion and interest in wine, beer and hospitality industries
- Weekend and Holiday availbility is required
