Description:
Little Flower Manor is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in one or more skilled trades such as painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, or electrical work. You do not need to be experienced in every area — but we are looking for someone who brings practical skill, good judgment, and pride in quality workmanship. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-kept environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free facility

Perform routine maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds

Complete basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting

Assist with room turnovers, minor renovations, and equipment moves

Support fire safety and prevention measures; follow OSHA and life-safety regulations

Participate in seasonal snow removal

Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend coverage
Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
-
Experience in one or more of the following: carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical

At least 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a facility, construction, or similar setting

Strong verbal communication skills for reporting and discussing maintenance needs

Clean valid driver’s license

Ability to lift 60 lbs or more

Providing examples of prior work (photos, descriptions, or project summaries) is helpful and encouraged.
