Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide or Cook to join our team at a facility specializing in assisted living or nursing home care. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production and possess culinary skills to prepare nutritious meals for residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
- Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and special dietary needs of residents
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist with bussing tables and helping serve meals when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to provide excellent customer service to residents
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a kitchen, preferably in an assisted living or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents and staff
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
