Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pool Excavator Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery to excavate and prepare sites for pool installation projects, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Duties
- Operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks to perform excavation and site grading tasks for pool installations
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on construction machinery, including Caterpillar equipment and other heavy machinery
- Use utility locating tools to identify underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or accidents
- Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently during all operations
- Assist with construction utility work such as trenching, piping, and site preparation in compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and site progress reports
- Collaborate with team members to ensure construction grading and excavation meet project specifications and deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks in a construction environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Construction site experience with familiarity in utility locating, excavation techniques, and site grading procedures
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety regulations during operations
- Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment safely and efficiently while following all equipment safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $25.75 - $31.01 per hour
