Frontier Roofing Supply is a Roofing Material Supplier
Summary: The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, stage, and organize roofing materials in the warehouse and yard. This role supports daily shipping and receiving operations while maintaining safety, accuracy, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload roofing materials from trucks and trailers
Move products safely throughout warehouse and outdoor yard
Pull and stage customer orders accurately
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or shortages
Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks
Maintain organized inventory and clean work areas
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
Assist customers and delivery drivers with material loading
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Support inventory counts and warehouse operations as needed
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6 mos to 1 year forklift operation experience preferred
Warehouse, roofing supply, or building materials experience preferred
Forklift Certification Required
Ability to obtain certification upon hire
Warehouse and inventory experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs
Strong attention to safety procedures
Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environment
Basic math and inventory skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Basic English/Spanish communication skills preferred
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Ability to work indoors and outdoors
Ability to climb on/off forklift
Ability to handle heavy and bulky materials safely
Equipment Used:
Sit-down forklift
Pallet jacks
Flatbed loading equipment
