Join our dynamic Concierge Internal Medical practice as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, where your energy and dedication will directly enhance patient experiences and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional patient service while supporting medical staff with clinical and administrative duties. Your expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and hospital or outpatient care will ensure smooth clinic flow and accurate documentation.
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Collect and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision.
- Perform Phlebotomy and prepare blood samples accurately for sending out to labs.
- Administer and record vaccines and other injectable medications.
- Assist providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and updating records accurately
- Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up coordination, and patient communication to ensure timely care delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for inpatient and outpatient settings
- Document medical encounters thoroughly using ICD coding and ensure compliance with healthcare regulationsQualifications
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or specialty practices like dermatology or geriatrics
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding standards
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions including intake procedures and vital signs collection
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is highly preferred
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
