Lehman College | Assistant Baseball Coach
Lehman College, a member of the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) and Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), seeks candidates for its next assistant baseball coach.
This individual will assist the head coach in operating a successful program, including but not limited to successful student-athlete recruitment, scouting, driving to away games, and practice and game planning. Recruiting ability and knowledge of NCAA compliance, rules, and regulations are vital to success in the role. Ability to recruit and foster culture of compliance and academic success and mid-afternoon availability and flexibility in March and April are imperative. College coaching experience and experience recruiting in New York City and/or urban institutions and club programs is a plus.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, valid state-issued driver’s license, and coaching experience at the college, local club, or high school level. This is a part-time position that includes out-of-season responsibilities such as recruiting students into enrollment and communicating with current student-athletes and staff.
