Position Summary
The Minnesota JCC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to delivering exceptional administrative support while contributing to a positive and productive workplace.

Administrative Support

Providing general administrative support to staff and departments as assigned.
- Helping families with basic account set-up or registration-related steps as assigned.
- Supporting meeting, program, and event logistics, including room reservations, materials, supplies, signage, and basic set-up needs.
- Helping with registrations, confirmations, attendance lists, and follow-up communications as assigned.
- Routing refunds, cancellations, payment adjustments, and other financial changes to Finance or the appropriate staff member.
- Helping with day-to-day office needs, including mail, supplies, printing, copying, scanning, filing, and basic data entry.
- Coordinating simple office-related requests, such as equipment service, vendor follow-up, and shared workspace needs.
- Supporting CAO, CFAO and CPO in scheduling and preparing for meetings.
Advancement and Donor Support

Assisting with donor correspondence, including acknowledgement letters, tribute cards, pledge reminders, statements, and other basic donor communications.
- Coordinating signatures, printing, mailing, print orders, and delivery of donor correspondence and related materials.
- Helping donors with basic questions and route more complex requests to the appropriate staff member.
- Providing basic administrative support to Fund Development, Marketing and Communications, and stewardship activities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

1+ years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or office support experience

Knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions, or a willingness to learn

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate with others. In the office setting, this is primarily a sedentary role, which requires the employee to sit at a desk for consecutive hours at a time using a computer or other office equipment. Additional physical requirements include occasional bending, crouching, reaching and lifting.
