Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Assembly Technician to assemble, inspect, kit, and prepare security shutter products for shipment or installation. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, organized, comfortable using air tools, and has strong practical math skills.
Responsibilities
- Assemble security shutters and related components according to specifications.
- Accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Apply strong math skills to calculate measurements, dimensions, quantities, and material requirements.
- Safely operate pneumatic and other air-powered tools at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Inspect finished products and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report defects, damaged materials, and assembly issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize parts and supplies.
- Kit security shutter components for shipment or installation.
- Package, label, and prepare completed orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and installation teams.
Requirements
- Previous production, manufacturing, assembly, or related experience preferred.
- Very good practical math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and measurement conversions.
- Intermediate to advanced experience using air tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately.
- Experience with quality control or product inspection.
- Inventory management or material-tracking experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for up to seven hours during a shift, with scheduled breaks.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and finished products.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
