We are currently seeking a Test and Balance Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform air and hydronic testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems to meet design specifications.
- Use specialized instruments and equipment to measure airflows, pressures, temperatures, and water flows.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper system performance.
- Document and prepare accurate test reports for project records and client submission.
- Identify and troubleshoot system deficiencies, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure systems are balanced according to requirements.
- Maintain tools, instruments, and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training in HVAC preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing, or related field.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with TAB instrumentation and ability to interpret readings.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Certification from AABC, NEBB, or TABB (preferred but not required).

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
