Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and maintenance tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues related to low voltage or high voltage circuits.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safety and quality.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or industrial facilities.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Be able to bend conduit (EMT, Rigid)
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems along with relevant safety standards.
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters confidently.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations and best practices for electrical safety compliance.
- Skilled in using hand tools like screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools required for electrical work.
