The role of cheese packager will be versatile, being involved in the various stages of our traditional packaging: foiling, waxing and hand labeling/wrapping. In addition to daily cheese production, you will also be serving samples of our wonderful products as well as periodically working in our farm store.
This job is laborious at times, standing for long periods of time as well as continuous use of your upper body, as all production is done by hand. You must be able to move/pickup 50lbs.
Responsibilities include the following:
- General cheese packing: foiling, waxing and wrapping cheese by hand.
- Give excellent customer service to visitors.
- Participate in standard sanitation protocols.
- Tend to the retail space in our farm store, stocking shelves and backstock.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
