Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mills & Lathes Setup/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills & Lathes machines to produce precision components for HPLC our own products in a teamwork factory environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various manufacturing tools. The CNC Mills & Lathes Setup/Operator will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality production standards are met consistently.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify parts meet specifications
- Maintain proper tooling and fixtures, including tooling changes on CNC Mills & Lathes.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for quality control compliance
- Assist with materials handling, fabrication
- Move materials, tools and equipment within the manufacturing facility
- Follow safety protocols related to machining operations, and materials handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC Mills & Lathe machines
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls additionally appreciated
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Experience with tooling setup, and materials handling
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations required during machining processes
- Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing environment
We are not a job shop and we produce almost all for our own precision products for HPLC industries. And this position offers an opportunity to work in a manufacturing facility where precision machining skills are valued. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in machining operations combined with mechanical aptitude to contribute effectively to our production team.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
