Inside Sales Representative – Polymer Extrusion Industry

Position Overview
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our sales team and customers within the extrusion industry. This role focuses on quoting, order coordination, and technical clarification with customers. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, can interpret CAD drawings, and understands tooling and die concepts. This position also requires close collaboration with our parent company.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage customer quotes based on specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
Work directly with customers to clarify technical details, specifications, and project requirements
Interpret CAD drawings to ensure accurate pricing and manufacturability
Coordinate closely with engineering, production, and outside sales teams
Collaborate with our parent company in Austria on technical and order-related matters
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order updates
Track orders, manage timelines, and ensure clear, consistent communication
Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems
Support continuous improvement of quoting and sales processes
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a technical role (industry experience preferred but not required)
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
Understanding of tooling, dies, or extrusion processes is highly beneficial
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including technical discussions with customers
Proficiency with standard business software (CRM, Excel, etc.) Preferred
Experience in the extrusion, manufacturing, or tooling industry
Exposure to quoting or estimating processes
Experience working with international teams or suppliers
Technical degree or relevant coursework
