Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and tech-forward PMHNP to join our expanding team in Texas. In this contract role, you will leverage our secure telehealth platform to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for diverse patient populations. You will work closely alongside a supportive network of psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to ensure holistic, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual psychiatric assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in strict accordance with clinical best practices and state regulations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in virtual case conferences, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation within the EMR.
- Engage in meaningful patient and family education to support long-term mental wellness.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered PMHNP license in the state of Texas.
- Multi-State Mindset: Must be eligible for, or currently hold, a Washington (WA) state license (Required).
- Certification: Active National Board Certification as a PMHNP.
- Must hold a TX DEA designation, and be eligible for WA DEA designation.
- Experience: 1 year minimum prior experience practicing in outpatient or telepsychiatry settings.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent digital communication, and a natural knack for remote teamwork.
- Values: Patient centered approach, deep commitment to evidence-based practice and a passion for continuous learning.
