Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and teeth cleaning
- Provide socialization and enrichment activities for animals
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kennel or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and physical tasks associated with animal care
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extra shifts as needed

Pay: $10.00 per hour
