Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and quality control procedures to ensure consistent excellence
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction levels
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed to foster a productive team environment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special projects, deep cleans, or renovations ensuring minimal disruption
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial settings
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with laundry operations and linen management in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Demonstrated leadership in managing housekeeping operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of service
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
