Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure is built to code, safe, and efficient. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as pipe threaders, wrenches, drills, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams including carpenters, HVAC specialists, and general contractors to coordinate project timelines.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting complex plumbing problems and performing system upgrades or remodels.
Qualifications
- 5-6 years of plumbing experience in residential and/or commerical plumbing.
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site access as needed; relevant certifications are advantageous.
