Who we are: Paragon Safety Group provides safety services to construction and general industry clients throughout the Eastern US. Headquartered in Raleigh, we provide workplace safety training, consulting, and on-site safety professionals to help our clients exceed their safety goals, decrease their risk, and reduce potential liability.
What we need: We are seeking a charismatic, detail-oriented, and experienced safety professional to serve as both an On-Site Safety Specialist and Construction Safety Auditor. This hybrid (on site and in office) role will ensure safe operations on active construction sites, conduct audits across multiple locations, and support administrative functions such as timesheet approvals and office coordination.
This position requires travel across the Carolinas, with occasional regional travel, and regular presence on construction sites. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly preferred

The person will identify and correct unsafe working conditions, conduct field inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Oversight & Auditing
- Provide temporary on-site safety coverage when needed
- Conduct regular site safety audits and prepare formal reports
- Identify and correct unsafe working conditions immediately
- Monitor safety-critical tasks and ensure OSHA compliance
- Coach employees on safe work practices and behavioral safety
- Conduct accident investigations and near-miss analyses
- Lead safety orientations and job hazard analyses (JHAs)
- Collaborate with client management to mitigate risk and control loss
- Represent Paragon and client interests in all safety matters
- Accompany external inspectors and ensure proper documentation
- Deliver OSHA 10/30 training as required
Administrative Support
- Review and approve employee timesheets and ensure accuracy
- Assist with scheduling safety training and site visits
- Maintain organized safety documentation and audit records
- Support office operations including reporting, filing, and communication
- Coordinate with internal teams to streamline safety and compliance workflows

Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of direct professional safety experience (Required)
- OSHA 510 certification (Required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (Preferred)
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license (Required)
- Great communication skills (Required)
- Proficient and comfortable with documentation and handling paperwork (Required)
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and pass a background check and drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
