Base Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 + Uncapped Commission

We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Freight Sales Executive to help grow our North American transportation business. This is an opportunity for a true sales hunter who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and growing a profitable portfolio of customers.
The ideal candidate already has an active, transferable book of business and proven experience selling LTL transportation services. They understand how to identify opportunities, solve complex shipping challenges, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities throughout North America.
- Leverage your existing network and book of business to generate immediate revenue.
- Prospect new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with shippers and key decision-makers.
- Identify customer transportation challenges and provide customized LTL transportation solutions.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure outstanding customer service and successful shipment execution.
- Develop pricing strategies that align with customer needs while maximizing profitability.
- Grow existing customer accounts by identifying additional shipping opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier capacity, and industry developments to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of freight brokerage or 3PL sales experience.
- An active, transferable book of business is required.
- Demonstrated experience selling LTL transportation services is required.
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing customer accounts.
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for business development.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of freight brokerage, LTL pricing, carrier networks, and transportation solutions.
- Experience working with national and regional LTL carriers is highly preferred.
- Ability to identify the best carrier solutions based on service requirements, transit times, and pricing.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a desire to maximize earnings.
