We are looking for an experienced cook to join our dual-concept kitchen team in Sarasota. This is a unique opportunity to work in one kitchen supporting both Swift Lounge and Masō, preparing elevated bar bites, seafood, steaks, small plates, and refined dinner menu items in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.sarasotamagazine+3
Pay: $20–$24/hour depending on experience
Hours: 30–40 per week
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plate menu items consistently and efficiently.
- Work across multiple stations as needed, including prep and service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workstation.
- Follow recipes, portioning, and chef direction.
- Check in deliveries and keep walk in cooler / freezer clean / organized
- Contribute to a strong team culture and smooth kitchen operations.
- Train under Executive Chef to learn the Maso / Swift Lounge way.
- Nightly Cleaning and Sanitizing
Qualifications:
- Previous cook or line cook experience required.
- Seafood and upscale dining experience preferred.
- Serv-Safe Certificate
- Able to handle a fast-paced service with attention to detail.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Clean and organized
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
