Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to presentation, flavor, and quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage food production processes, including portion control, inventory management, and food handling procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and catering preparations to meet customer expectations.
- Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of ingredients.
- Lead shift management efforts, including delegating tasks, managing time efficiently, and ensuring excellent food service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end culinary environments.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills.
- Strong background in food production, food safety protocols, and kitchen management.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and catering operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with a passion for culinary excellence and hospitality.
