We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist / Reservations Coordinator for our Rocklin grooming salon. This is a key role on our team — you are the first impression for our clients and the support hub for our groomers.

Position Summary
The Receptionist / Reservations Coordinator manages the front-of-house operations of the salon. You will work closely with the Grooming Manager, groomers, and clients to keep the day running smoothly, professionally, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Check pets in and out for grooming appointments
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the booking system
- Process credit card and cash transactions accurately
- Enter and update client and pet information
- Explain pricing, policies, and grooming services
- Contact veterinary clinics to verify vaccination records
- Call, text, or email clients for appointment confirmations and reminders
- Assist pet parents with their pets during drop-off and pick-up
- Monitor pets and report any concerns to management
- Complete daily and weekly task lists
- Assist with other salon duties as needed to support operations and pet care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable using computers, booking systems, and Microsoft Word
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Confident, energetic, and professional in appearance
- Able to work independently and stay focused in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to business needs
- Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
