Healthcare’s helping hand.
CHG shook things up in 1979 by inventing the locum tenens staffing model. We connect doctors with patients who need their care. As the largest physician staffing firm in America, our providers treat millions of patients each year.
Our industry is growing and demand is high. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your career. Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding
CHG is seeking a Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst to serve as the deep technical bridge between product strategy and engineering execution. This is an evolution of the traditional BSA role — you will not only gather and document requirements, but you will author granular technical specifications that engineers build directly from. You will be embedded in engineering workflows, performing data analysis, scripting validation logic, authoring test plans, and contributing to pull request discussions. You will own the detailed “how” of every initiative: data models, integration specs, API contracts, and edge case definitions.
Responsibilities
-
Author detailed technical specifications including functional requirements, non-functional requirements, data models, API contracts, integration points, and system behavior definitions
-
Write prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and accelerate decision-making
-
Work alongside engineers throughout the development lifecycle: participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, code walkthroughs, and pull request reviews for spec alignment
-
Create and maintain process flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, and data mapping documents for system integrations
-
Define test strategies, author test plans and test cases derived from specs, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts
-
Perform complex data analysis to validate requirements, uncover edge cases, and support design decisions
-
Translate business requirements into precise technical language and translate technical constraints into business-understandable trade-offs for stakeholders
-
Proactively identify risks related to requirements completeness, system integration, data quality, and delivery scope; propose mitigations and escalate appropriately
-
Mentor junior BSAs on technical analysis skills, spec writing standards, and engineering collaboration practices
