Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes or specials to excite guests and increase sales.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer options.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly while maintaining quality standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Experience in beverage recipe development and creating innovative drink menus.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
- Previous hospitality industry experience including catering or banquet service is a plus.
