Job Overview
NeuroWellness Utah is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, preferably a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), to join our outpatient mental health practice specializing in the treatment of depression and other mood and anxiety disorders. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health assessments, medication management, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and medication reviews, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with supervising Psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services for patients in various locations.
- Document all patient encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) system: Athena, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and wellness.
- Recognize when a patient may benefit from alternative or higher levels of care.
Position Details:
- Part-time, currently 1 day per week
- Additional days may become available as the practice grows
- Familiarity with TMS or Spravato treatments is a plus
- PMHNP certification preferred
- A dedicated MA will assist with any administrative needs

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
