Job Summary
The APP fellow provides comprehensive medical care to individuals, families, and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.
The Primary Care Advanced Practice Fellowship is a 10–12-month APPFA accredited post-graduate program for nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Fellows complete six months in primary care and additional rotations in specialty areas to strengthen their skills in managing diverse patient populations.
The program includes scheduled didactic sessions, monthly fellowship meetings, and regular feedback from preceptors and program faculty. Fellows are expected to reflect the mission, vision, and values of TGH and TGMG, practicing within their scope and all applicable standards.
