Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and instructional design techniques.
- Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and early childhood development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive classroom management strategies and conflict management skills.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or in special education programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support individual student goals and provide academic advising when necessary.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for lesson planning, tracking student progress, and communicating with families.
- Incorporate library services and other educational resources to enrich the learning experience for all students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; additional certification in elementary or preschool education preferred.
- Proven classroom experience with children of various age groups, including preschool or toddler care settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools such as LMS platforms and instructional design software.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching methodologies when applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom environment confidently while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $37,200.00 per year
