7th grade math teacher that utilizes the NCSCOS. We are 1:1 with chromebooks and are a tight knit Middle School Team of teachers.

Position SummaryThe Middle School Mathematics Teacher delivers high-quality math instruction that develops students’ problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and conceptual understanding. The teacher supports students in building a strong foundation in mathematics while preparing them for high school coursework.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction
- Teach middle school math aligned with North Carolina standards.
- Develop lessons that promote conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning.
- Incorporate problem-based learning and real-world applications.
Assessment & Data
- Use assessments and data to guide instruction and identify student needs.
- Provide intervention and enrichment opportunities.
Student Support
- Support diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Participate in MTSS processes when needed.
Collaboration
- Work with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
School Engagement
- Maintain positive relationships with students and families.
- Support school-wide programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field
- North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility) in Mathematics
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
Pay: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
