Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing options
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, handling cash drawer management with precision
- Assist customers with retail lending options, including loan applications and collections when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, data entry, and customer interactions using financial software and POS systems
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing displays
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, including processing cash transactions and managing the cash drawer efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with retail store environments preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, balancing registers, and performing calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer operations, cash management, and cashiering responsibilities
