In this role as Baristas , you will craft delicious coffee and beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and create memorable experiences for every guest. Duties (Baristas)
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Toast and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy using proper cashiering procedures
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare light food items and snacks, following food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Duties (Supervisors)
- Overseeing staff, ensuring that they are trained and ready to perform their duties effectively
- Monitoring quality of coffee served, ensuring it meets the shop's standards
- Interacting with customer and addressing their needs and concerns
- Handling adminsistrative duties such as record-keeping and inventory management
- Training and development
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred
- Previous supervisor or managerial experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
