Facilitate the recruitment and hiring process including posting jobs, administering applicant survey and reference and credential checks, assist management with maintaining applicant tracking system and, coordinate background check, medical physical, l-9, benefits and other paperwork.
Create and maintain employee files and electronic files to document the life span of employment. Conduct filing daily to ensure accurate up to date files.
Receive and respond to time sensitive, confidential documentation requests, subpoenas and related inquires. Represent the facility and support management in, representation at unemployment hearings and other situations.Maintain facility reporting of worker compensations claims via the OSHA portal, serve as a liaison to provide assistance and clarification regarding disability management needs. Administrator to violations to policy and procedure.
Enter new hire information and any changes to personal information for all employees into the system. Ensure all payroll related tasks are completed in an accurate & timely manner to produce bi-weekly payroll including any off-cycle check processing.
Direct entry of all new hire benefit enrollments into carrier website and set up payroll deductions in alignment to the first affected payroll cycle.
Respond to and resolve employee inquiries concerning payroll taxes, wage garnishments and other payroll related questions.
Maintain employee data, including all leaves of absence (e.g. Family and Medical Leave), beneficiary information, benefit plans and cobra etc... Ensure accuracy of deductions and make sure any documents needed for payroll processing is provided.
Tracking employee eligibility for all employee benefits which may include Health, Life, LTD, STD, Time off benefits, etc.. and monitor changes in scheduled hours to determine, eligibility for benefits coverage, changes in health insurance elections and make timely and accurate adjustments.
