About the Role
You will own purchasing and inventory for the company. Your main job is always keeping our best-selling products in stock. You will manage vendor and freight carrier relationships, help source new products, and keep our product catalog current in NetSuite.
You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the CEO.
What we need your help with:
- Monitor inventory levels daily and flag stockout risks early
- Create, place, and track all purchase orders
- Manage relationships with domestic and international vendors
- Manage parcel carrier and freight forwarder relationships
- Negotiate rates and conduct regular carrier account reviews
- Coordinate inbound international shipments
- Place special and custom orders quickly and accurately
- Work with leadership and sales team to source new products
- Manage samples, pricing, and lead times with manufacturing partners
- Set up new products in NetSuite
- Maintain reorder points, safety stock, and lead time data
- Keep landed costs current, including tariff changes
- Communicate order status and payment timing with accounting
- Review and approve vendor bills for products and freight
- Track and report on your KPI data

- Best-selling products stay in stock
- Purchase orders are entered accurately and on time
- Costs stay current and accurate
- Carrier rates improve through active management
- New product sourcing stays organized and moving

- Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- In-office in Lake Elsinore, CA
- $23.00 to $30.00 per hour

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with international suppliers and import logistics
- Experience negotiating with freight carriers and product vendors
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Self-directed. You follow up without being reminded.
- Strong written communication skills
- Organized, discreet, and self-directed
- Works well in a small, fast-moving company
- Must be able to work 5 days a week in the office
- Discretion required -- this role handles confidential trade information
