Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead the maintenance team while working alongside them to keep the community running smoothly, looking great, and providing a safe, comfortable home for residents.

What You’ll Do Each Day:
- Lead, train, and support maintenance team members
- Provide feedback and conduct performance check-ins
- Schedule and inspect make-ready apartments before move-in
- Complete service requests quickly and efficiently
- Maintain inventory and keep the shop organized
- Handle common area maintenance and safety checks
- Manage maintenance projects and preventive maintenance programs
- Participate in resident satisfaction efforts
- Communicate with residents, vendors, leadership, and partners
- Enforce safety standards and conduct regular inspections
- Stay up to date on best practices and safety guidelines
- Assist with hiring, training, and staff performance management
- Review and approve timecards and ensure accurate timekeeping
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- EPA, state, HVAC, and local certifications (required)
- Pool and other state/local certifications (required)
- 2–4 years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade
(electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC)
- AppFolio experience (preferred, not required)
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to read work orders, schedules, and communicate clearly in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Professional, ethical, and dependable work style
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Ability to work at multiple properties when needed
- Willingness to travel within the metro area and attend company events
- Availability for on-call/emergency maintenance outside normal business hours
