- Support and promote the vision, core values, and communication agreements of the Victoria Public Library.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner, fostering a positive image of the library.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve department goals.
- Demonstrate a patron-centered approach and maintain a professional working relationship with staff, volunteers, and the public.
- Assist with programs, services, and patron experiences as assigned.
- Help monitor library facilities to ensure an appropriate, user-friendly environment.
- Check in materials, prepare alphabetized carts, perform inventory searches, and shelve on shift library materials as needed.
- Follow all City and department safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
