American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and a willingness to float within the health system.

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
13-week contract
-
Placement on a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on facility need and traveler skill set
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Floating required within skill set, including to sites within 40 miles of the primary facility
-
Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care Step Down experience

Current BLS certification (AHA required)

Current ACLS certification (AHA required)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Skills checklist required for consideration

Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing is the same for both skill sets

Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
