Job Overview
We are hiring immediately for Shipping & Receiving Associate. To be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years of experience with Forklift certification, and RF scanning is required for this shipping position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the accuracy of all shipments and for meeting all shipping deadlines and requirements.
- Build and stage loads according to our outbound logs.
- Provide direction and leadership to the shipping department team members; makes recommendations for manpower needs.
- Monitor and track shipping performance.
- Handling / Interacting with drivers.
- Signing drivers out / printing BOL's.
- Forklift certified.
- RF scanning/WMS knowledge.
- Maintain machinery.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure that all employees in the shipping department are following all safety rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse role with leadership experience.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Good command of written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
· Proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
