A high-volume Ophthalmology practice with multiple locations is searching for a full-time Patient Services Representative for our high-volume call center. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer and communication skills with call center experience. And possess a healthcare and insurance background.
The primary focus of a Call Center PSR is to answer incoming phone calls, complete patient registration, verify insurance information, schedule appointments and various other tasks. This position serves as a liaison between patients and physicians, handles all aspects of appointment scheduling and rescheduling in a courteous and efficient manner.
Previous Patient Service Representative or Call Center experience required. Experience with ophthalmology and NextGen preferred. Compensation will be based on experience.
