Assistant Project Manager – Residential Construction
Job Location: All construction sites are in southern NH and within 30 minutes of our Bedford office.
Job Type: This is a full-time hourly position. Employees are eligible for regular benefits after 90 days which include:

Position Summary:
LaMontagne Builders is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to assist with administrative tasks, coordinating with subcontractors, and helping with budget and schedule control. This position reports directly to the Project Manager, with duties that include preparing documents, tracking project progress, ensuring compliance with plans, and assisting with site safety and quality control.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and field staff.
Organize and maintain project files
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
Communicate with team members about project details.
Assist with managing the flow of information between the office and the job site.
Assist with managing the project schedule and monitoring progress, as well have a thorough understanding of BuildPro.
Properly frame punch and “markup” a frame.
Lead and manage employees, vendors, and trade partners on the jobsite.
Operate heavy machinery on the job site as needed.
Verify that field work complies with specifications and quality standards.
Assist with quality control activities and inspect material deliveries.
Help coordinate punch list activities and the project closeout process.

Hands on tasks as required
Physical requirements:
Regularly lift and carry materials up to 50 LBS; heavier with assistance.
Stand or walk for extended periods on hard surfaces.
Bend, kneel, or crouch frequently for installation tasks.
Climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs as needed.
Reach overhead or outstretched for precise tasks.
Operate hand and power tools requiring fine motor skills.
Perform repetitive motions like sanding, drilling, and sawing.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Maintain balance on uneven surfaces or tight spaces.
Push or pull tools and materials around the worksite.
