Responsibilities

- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate specialized approaches such as Montessori or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development stages.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies tailored for young learners.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood education or Montessori teaching are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports physical activity, literacy education, math concepts, and social-emotional learning.
- Experience with classroom experience involving toddlers care, physical education activities, or tutoring is highly desirable.
