We're looking for a landscaper to help us maintain our 180 acre horse farm.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas healthy and vibrant
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management strategies are implemented effectively
- Install and repair irrigation systems to maintain optimal watering schedules for diverse landscape.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Conduct seasonal cleanups, mulch applications, and debris removal to maintain pristine outdoor spaces year-round
Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, landscaping equipment operation, and irrigation systems
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management techniques
- Ability to operate groundskeeping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and tree trimming tools safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to outdoor work environments and equipment handling
- Excellent attention to detail in gardening, lawn care, tree care, and hardscape installation projects
- Strong physical stamina for extended periods of outdoor activity in varying weather conditions
