About the Role:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will:
Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services to perform routine assignments in resident living areas.
Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
Maintain the facility grounds, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.
Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.
Provide innovative, responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred.
Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
