Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic To-go Specialist / pizza cook to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests placing takeout orders, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your primary focus will be on providing excellent guest services while efficiently managing orders through our POS system. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their takeout orders, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system, including any special requests or modifications.
- Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and specials.
- Ensure all to-go orders are packaged correctly and presented attractively for guests.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Experience in guest services, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries and take orders efficiently.
- Ability to build rapport with guests, enhancing their overall experience.
- A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous but not required.
