Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)| Chico, CA | Assisted Living & Memory Care
We are hiring an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to lead the care team at our senior living community in Chico, CA.
This is not just a floor nurse position. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the Care Department, including caregivers, Med Techs, resident care coordination, medication management, compliance, and communication with families and healthcare providers.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise caregivers and Med Tech staff
- Oversee the medication room and medication administration processes
- Ensure compliance with Title 22 and RCFE regulations
- Maintain resident documentation, assessments, incident reports, and care plans
- Coordinate resident care with physicians, hospice, home health, and families
- Support resident admissions, assessments, and service planning
- Partner closely with the Executive Director on resident wellness and quality assurance
- Train, coach, and support care staff
- Help maintain a positive, compassionate, resident-focused environment
Qualifications
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
- Minimum 3 years of Assisted Living (RCFE) experience required.
- Previous experience supervising caregivers, Med Techs, or clinical staff.
- Strong knowledge of California Title 22 regulations.
- Experience completing resident assessments and individualized care plans.
- Experience with medication management and physician communications.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Compensation & Benefits
