The Personal Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering personalized fitness programs to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This role includes conducting fitness assessments, providing instruction on proper exercise techniques, and offering motivation, accountability, and support. The trainer ensures a safe and engaging training environment and builds strong relationships to foster client success.
Current YMCA-approved CPR and First Aid certification, Y-USA, and Redwoods re-quired training completed within first 90 days.
Conduct initial consultations and fitness assessments for new clients.
Develop customized workout plans based on client goals, fitness level, and medical history.
Monitor client progress and adjust programs as needed.
Provide encouragement, motivation, and education on health and wellness.
Ensure the training area is safe, clean, and properly equipped.
Maintain accurate records of sessions and client progress.
Uphold professional standards and comply with organizational policies.
Promote personal training services and contribute to member retention.
Attends all staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
