Position Summary
The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling wireless infrastructure equipment and related components in a production environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions to produce high-quality finished products.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with small mechanical and electrical components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble electromechanical equipment and subassemblies used in wireless infrastructure systems.
- Follow assembly instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material (BOM).
- Install and secure mechanical components including brackets, panels, fasteners, anchors, and mounting hardware.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assemblies.
- Identify and report defective components, missing materials, or assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety procedures.
- Assist with packaging and preparation of finished equipment for shipment when needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous electromechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
- Experience assembling telecommunications or electronic equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and connectors.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent use of hands for small-component assembly.
- Good visual acuity for detailed work.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $18 – $20 per hour (based on experience)
