Prestige is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ICU Nurse to join our dynamic critical care team. The Hospital system we reprsent is amazing and really care about the travel nurses and are very flexible with schedules. Must Have:
REQUIRED Skills: CVI ICU Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, CABG, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Valve Replacement/Repair, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy (accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs), Medications (continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips), CVA/Acute Stroke Management, Lumbar drains, assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of ventilated patient, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, infection prevention, isolations precautions/Use of PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/would vac
- Proven ICU experience with familiarity in trauma medicine, Level I/II trauma center protocols, and critical & intensive care procedures.
- Must be Flexible and work well with a team
- ILLINOIS RN LICENSE
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Skilled in the use of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

- icu or cvicu: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
