Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment across multiple construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly to ensure secure connections and optimal flow within systems
- Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure with precision
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless integration with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions on-site
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols and site regulations
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction plumbing and general construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC components, and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in remodeling, assembly work, and handyman tasks on construction sites
- Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations during installations
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction environments
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols
- Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment
