CDL Class A Night Driver — Local Night Routes with Occasional Out-of-State Runs
QX Logistix is hiring experienced CDL Class A Drivers for primarily night-shift work, with opportunities to take occasional out-of-state runs to Arizona and Nevada.
This role is ideal for dependable drivers who prefer evening and overnight schedules and are flexible when longer regional routes are needed. Most shifts begin at approximately 4:30 PM and typically run 8–10 hours, depending on workload. Drivers selected for out-of-state runs may work overnight schedules, generally beginning between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
This is a no-touch freight position paid at a straight-time rate. Weekend work is available for drivers interested in additional hours.
Primary Night Shift Start Time: Approximately 4:30 PM
Typical Shift Length: 8–10 hours, based on workload
Occasional Out-of-State Routes: Arizona and Nevada
Overnight Out-of-State Start Times: Approximately 12:00 AM–5:00 AM

POSITION SUMMARY
QX Logistix is seeking reliable, safety-focused CDL Class A Drivers to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate has a strong driving record, experience operating commercial vehicles, and the flexibility to support both local night operations and occasional out-of-state routes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and container chassis, to transport freight.
- Complete local night routes and support occasional out-of-state routes as assigned.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, Hours of Service requirements, weight restrictions, and company safety procedures.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly through Samsara.
- Coordinate with dispatch to support on-time deliveries and efficient route planning.
- Maintain accurate trip records, including mileage, fuel usage, delivery information, and required documentation.
- Provide professional customer service and ensure freight is delivered safely, on time, and in good condition.
- Follow company policies related to safety, attendance, performance, and compliance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- At least two years of commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no points, recent accidents, or serious traffic violations.
- Current Hazardous Materials endorsement required.
- Knowledge of local and state traffic laws, commercial driving regulations, and safety requirements.
- Experience operating heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and container chassis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Ability to work independently, maintain accurate documentation, and manage time effectively.
- Availability to work evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday schedules as needed.
- Flexibility to complete occasional out-of-state routes to Arizona and Nevada.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.50 - $32.00 per hour
