We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our team, uphold our high cleanliness standards, and ensure every corner of our property is flawless. [1]
Position Overview:
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be the backbone of our hotel’s daily operations. You will directly supervise, train, and inspect the work of our housekeeping staff to maintain a spotless environment for our guests. Beyond day-to-day guest rooms, you will oversee the laundry department and manage the immaculate presentation of linens for our on-site events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the housekeeping staff to meet boutique-level quality standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a pristine, welcoming environment.
- Laundry Oversight: Manage the laundry operations, ensuring all bed sheets, towels, and robes are thoroughly cleaned, neatly folded, and well-stocked.
- Event Linen Management: Coordinate the cleaning, pressing, and preparation of all specialized linens for hotel events and gatherings.
- Inventory & Organization: Maintain impeccably neat, tidy, and well-stocked supply closets, storage spaces, and housekeeping work areas. [1]
- Must be willing to jump in and clean rooms and public areas.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Experience: Proven track record in hotel housekeeping, ideally as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper, or Manager.
- Expertise: Strong working knowledge of laundry operations and specialized event linens.
- Skills: Exceptional eye for detail, strong leadership, and excellent staff-training capabilities.
